ARH2051: Introduction to History of Art 2

This international course gave me an understanding of the historical and cultural context of artwork from around the world. When studying abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico I was able to view work from artists that I learned about in the course.

Spanish Grammar and Mexican Culture

This encompassed the multicomponent program at the University of Guadalajara. I learned Spanish for half of the school day then learned about Mexican culture in the afternoon. The evenings we had workshops and excursions where we practiced Spanish with assigned students from the University of Guadalajara.
MUH2010: Introduction to Music Literature

3 credit hours
​The course introduced me to the role of music in different cultures and understand the historical context of many influential works. As a trained violinist, this gave me a deeper understanding of the pieces I played myself.
WST3371:
Women, Diversity, and Leadership in the Global Environment
Fall 2018
3 credit hours
This course opened my eyes to the labyrinth involved in being a woman and a leader especially in science. Additionally, it helped me understand how to disrupt these barriers from an employers perspective.
